Hvad er dækket af afbestillingsforsikringen?

Forsikringen dækker, hvis du ikke kan deltage i dit arrangement på grund af uforudsete hændelser som sygdom, ulykke eller andre godkendte årsager. Du får en pludselig og uventet akut sygdom eller komplikation, som skyldes graviditet. En uafhængig læge fraråder dig at deltage. En af dine nære pårørende rammes af en akut sygdom eller ulykke af så alvorlig karakter, at den behandlende læge eller sygeplejerske vurderer, at den nære pårørende bør kontaktes. Du eller en af dine nære pårørende pludselig dør. Du må blive hjemme eller rejse hjem på grund af indbrud eller væsentlig skade på din permanente bolig. Den offentlige transport, du rejser med til din destination, er aflyst eller forsinket. Køretøjet, som du rejser med til destinationen, er involveret i en trafikulykke eller rammes af en mekanisk fejl, der kræver udbedring på et værksted, for at videre kørsel med køretøjet skal være mulig. Du er indkaldt som vidne i en retssag. The insurance covers:

You suddenly get sick or have an accident.
You experience a sudden and unexpected acute illness or complication caused by pregnancy.
An independent doctor advises against your participation.
One of your close relatives is struck by an acute illness or accident of such a serious nature that the attending physician or nurse determines that the close relative should be contacted.
You or one of your close relatives suddenly dies.
You must stay home or return home due to a break-in or significant damage to your permanent residence.
The public transport you are traveling with to your destination is canceled or delayed.
The vehicle you are traveling in to your destination is involved in a traffic accident or suffers a mechanical failure that requires repairs at a repair shop before you can continue your journey in that vehicle.
You have been summoned to testify in a court case.
Your home, your route, or your destination is located in an area where the police or other public authorities officially advise against traveling or being outdoors due to snow, ice, fog, storms, or similar conditions. A weather advisory from the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) must indicate Category 2 “Dangerous Weather” or higher.
You are ordered by your employer to work overtime, or if your employer orders you to cancel your approved vacation.
You are employed by the Armed Forces or the Danish Emergency Management Agency and will be deployed on a mission at the time of the event.
Your babysitter suddenly gets sick or is unable to attend less than 48 hours before the event, and a replacement cannot be found.
You depend on a companion, and that companion is unable to attend for one of the reasons listed above
