Information on insurance mediation

These pre-contractual disclosures are provided in accordance with the Insurance Distribution Act (Consolidated Act No. 1121 of September 3, 2018) and Directive (EU) 2016/97 of the European Parliament and of the Council on insurance distribution. The purpose is to ensure that you, as a customer, receive relevant information before an insurance contract is concluded.

Insurance broker

Mysafety AB is an insurance intermediary and is supervised by Finansinspektionen in Sweden. This means that Finansinspektionen supervises that Mysafety and its insurance intermediaries meet all legal requirements for insurance intermediation. If you want to check a specific intermediary, you must contact the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority at +45 (0) 8-408 980 00.

Mysafety is also registered as an insurance intermediary with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket). Mysafety's address is Rådmansgatan 40, 113 57 Stockholm.

Property and casualty insurance

Mysafety's authorization allows Mysafety and its insurance intermediaries to distribute the following insurance policies in all classes of non-life insurance.

Liability insurance

As an insurance intermediary, Mysafety holds professional indemnity insurance that covers financial losses caused by one of our intermediaries. The insurance is provided by Allianz, and if you have a financial claim, please contact Mysafety so that we can pursue the claim with our insurance company.

Compensation/commission

When Mysafety mediates insurance, we receive compensation from the insurance company, and all compensation is calculated per policy. The remuneration that Mysafety receives from the insurer must cover costs for sales, marketing, administration, logistics, and distribution, as well as customer service. In addition, the compensation also covers unique insurance elements tied to specific insurances, such as financial monitoring, which is included as part of the ID protection insurance, as well as claims handling.

Complaint

If you as a customer wish to file a complaint against Mysafety regarding the distribution of insurance, please contact customer service first. See more information about our procedures for complaints and reviews under “Customer service” and “If you are not satisfied”, and we will try to resolve the matter together. Here you will also find contact information for our complaints officer.
